We are seeking an Advanced WordPress Developer with a strong track record of building high-performance WordPress websites that load quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as substantial experience updating and managing the backend of WordPress websites.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites that load quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure that all code is clean, properly formatted, and adheres to best practices.
- Implement proper semantics for SEO and ensure that all websites are optimized for search engines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and technologies.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and build custom solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot website issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure that all websites are running smoothly.
- Collaborate with other developers and designers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide ongoing website maintenance and support to ensure that all websites are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Ensure that all websites are built with premium, reliable plugins and are easy to update.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience building high-performance WordPress websites that load quickly and efficiently.
- The ability to convert a High Fidelity Wireframe to a WordPress site from start to finish using tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
- Familiar with the WordPress plugin ecosystem and able to identify safe, reliable and robust plugins with premium functionality.
- The ability to integrate APIs, custom data sets, and apply styles based on brand guide.
- Strong understanding of premium, reliable plugins and how to incorporate them into WordPress websites.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress backend management, updates, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of proper semantics for SEO and how to optimize WordPress websites for search engines.
- Experience with website troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and clients.
- Ability to write clean, well-organized, and properly documented code.
- Familiarity with Git version control system is a plus.
